What
is Panhellenic?
The Panhellenic
Association at UC Davis is the unifying, overseeing body of the 8 National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities and two associate
members on campus. The council is composed of women from each sorority
who use their special talents and skills to successfully run the Panhellenic system. Panhellenic
is responsible for the promotion of scholarship, service and safety for each
sorority as well as the entire Greek community. The council also has
executive officers who work hard to promote unity and cooperation among Greek
women and men. The success of the Panhellenic
Association at UC Davis depends on the support of each sorority and therefore
develops unity between the individual chapters. This unity enhances Panhellenic and provides a common interest for all Greek
women.
