Delta
Dessert- Fall Quarter
During the fall, we invite neighbors, friends, and
teachers to join us for an evening of sweets at the Tri Delta house.
Guests purchase tickets for a buffet of all- you- can- eat desserts and
during their visit, they are educated about the efforts of the Make- A-
Wish Foundation to grant wishes for children who are seriously or terminally
ill. We share stories about children who have had their dreams come
true because of our donation of Delta Dessert's profits. It's a night
of fun and hope that fills everyone's hearts...and tummies!

Party- Winter Quarter
When the weather outside is frightful, Beta Pi travels
to Sacramento to visit the young patients of Shriners Hospital for Children.
During our visit, we make Valentine's Day crafts and cards with the kids
there and spend the evening playing and laughing with them. Our chapter
feels it is very important to not only raise funds but also spend time
with those who we have adopted as our little angels.

Big
Bats- Spring Quarter
Big Bats is by far THE event of the year for Beta
Pi. To honor Tri Delta's national partnership with St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital, we organize a two day softball tournament in which fraternities
from Davis and other nearby universities compete against each other.
There is food, music, a raffle, and a Sorority All- Star game to make this
event a true extravaganza. The proceeds of this event are sent off
to St. Jude's in Tennessee to help in their fight against cancer and to
provide treatment for children in families who wouldn't otherwise be able
to afford it. Big Bats is an event that the Beta Pi chapter of Delta
Delta Delta looks forward to each year because we know our hard work may
make all the difference for a child at St. Jude's thousands of miles away.
