Zeta Nu's Happenings...

Welcome to the first Zeta Nu Alumnae newsletter. It is my hope that you will enjoy receiving and reading about the latest happenings of the Thetas at UC Davis! Inside this edition and further editions I would like to provide you with useful information about Zeta Nu and Campus events, District VIII news, alumnae updates, and anything else you'd like to share with the your sisters. Admittedly, this is my first attempt at a newsletter, but with the help of Microsoft Publisher, I will try my best. I hope you have fun reading this newsletter and feel free to pass it on!!

Founder's Day, A Time to Remember·

The Sacramento Alumnae Club and the active collegians from the Zeta Nu Chapter celebrated the 131st Founder's Day at the Arden Hills Country Club on January 21, 2001. A wonderful brunch was arranged by Ann Worthington, the current alumnae club President.
An impressive raffle included the usual Zeta Nu t-shirts, stationary, posters, but also included a $50.00 gift certificate to Sophia's Thai Kitchen, now owned by Gordon Langstaff, Ruthie's son. Proceeds from the raffle will be used for the annual Ruthie Langstaff scholarship, awarded to a well deserving Zeta Nu collegian each spring. Ann also auctioned off her beautiful Tahoe cabin for the Memorial Day weekend to the highest bidder! Money raised from that auctioned item will help fund further Sacramento Alumnae club
